The Personal Data we may process includes in particular:

Compliance with a legal obligation:

  • Compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations, in particular regarding anti-money laundering (AML) and invoicing.

  • Proper performance of contractual and pre-contractual relationships (payment assurance, taxation, delivery, etc.);

  • Offering services in line with your expectations.

Your consent:

  • Sending newsletters or commercial offers about HBM’s activities, and invitations to events;

HBM’s legitimate interest:

Who are the recipients of your Personal Data?
HBM shares your Personal Data only with a limited list of people, solely in accordance with the purposes set out above and the tasks entrusted to them. Accordingly, the only recipients of your Personal Data are HBM’s internal staff responsible for sales and marketing management, and HBM’s data processors. The Personal Data relating to a prospect who is not a customer may be kept for three (3) years from the date it is collected or from the last contact initiated by the prospect. At the end of this period, we may contact you again to ask whether you wish to continue receiving marketing communications.

i. Access and be informed: you have the right to be informed in a concise, transparent, intelligible and easily accessible manner about how your Personal Data is processed. You also have the right to obtain: (i) confirmation as to whether or not Personal Data concerning you is being processed by HBM and, where that is the case, (ii) access to all of your Personal Data and a copy of it.

 

ii. Rectification: if you consider that Personal Data concerning you is incomplete or inaccurate, you may ask HBM to rectify it, which HBM will do as soon as possible.

 

iii. Erasure: in certain cases, you may request that HBM erase your Personal Data (the “right to be forgotten”); however, this is not an absolute right, as HBM may, in certain cases, have legal or legitimate grounds to retain your Personal Data.

 

iv. Restriction: in certain cases listed in Article 18 of the GDPR, you may ask HBM to restrict the processing of your Personal Data.

 

v. Transfer: you have the right to data portability, meaning to receive your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You are therefore free to transmit your Personal Data to a recipient of your choice, and HBM may not object. However, this right applies only where the processing is based on your consent or on the performance of a contract, and where the processing is carried out by automated means.

 

vi. Object: where the processing of your Personal Data is based on HBM’s legitimate interest, you may object to such processing. HBM will then stop processing your Personal Data unless it has a legitimate reason justifying the processing. You also have the right to object at any time to the processing of your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes. Lastly, you have the right to unsubscribe from our newsletter simply by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each newsletter.

 

vii. Lodge a complaint: you always have the right to lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL).
